This tab combines Target Inspector, independent target holding with Shift and global aggro tracking. These functions are related but enabled in different ways.
The Target Inspector button on the function panel controls remembering and restoring targets according to the selected mode. Holding with Shift is enabled with its own checkbox, and the aggression skill list is used by various ZeusR functions. They do not require the Inspector button to be on.
Operating modes
The mode determines which target the inspector remembers and when it attempts to restore it. Choose an option in “Operating mode”; the tooltip beside the question mark helps compare the modes.
0 — Restore target. Restores the remembered target when the current target is lost or cleared. While you already have another target selected, this mode does not require returning to the previous one, making it suitable for recovery after a target clear without constant interference in manual selection.
Allowing any target. Only “Restore target” mode shows an additional checkbox that allows any target to be remembered and restored. With it enabled, the inspector is not limited to regular opponent selection and can restore the selected object directly. This broadens the target pool, but the object must remain available for selection.
1 — Remember all targets. The inspector also considers regular manual selection in the game. A newly selected target can become the remembered one; when a target is lost or changed unexpectedly, the inspector uses its memory to restore it.
2 — Remember except classes. Works like remembering all targets, but does not record players whose classes are in the exceptions list. Useful when certain classes should not become the inspector's target.
Class exceptions. The field below the mode appears only for this option. Enter class IDs or select names and groups from the library. For example, a group of tanks excludes all classes it contains at once. The T button adds the class of the player selected in the game to the existing exceptions.
3 — Ignore aggressor. The inspector does not adopt a player who forced themselves as your target with an aggression skill as its new working focus. Enabled entries in “Global aggro tracking” are used for recognition. Breaker and Reskill can still respond to that player according to their own settings: ignoring the aggressor in Inspector does not disable other functions.
4 — Expert. The remembered target is determined by selection through ZeusR, including on the radar. Regular manual selection in the game does not replace it in the inspector's memory. This mode is useful when you want ZeusR's working focus to remain separate from manual selection in the game window.
The inspector helps return to a known object, but does not make an unavailable target available or guarantee selection after it disappears from the surroundings.
Resetting and holding with Shift
Inspector hotkey. The shortcut field below the mode assigns a hotkey to toggle Target Inspector, the same action as the button on the function panel. Turning it off clears the inspector's own memory.
Reset with Esc. “Reset inspector with Esc” lets you clear the remembered target by pressing Esc. This resets memory without turning the Inspector button off. If other automatic functions remain active, they can select a target again according to their own rules.
Holding with Shift. “Remember and hold target with Shift” enables a separate function. It works even with Target Inspector off, is independent of the selected mode, and uses its own temporary target memory.
To use target holding:
- Enable holding with Shift.
- Check the functions whose intervention you want to block while holding.
- Hold Shift and select the desired target.
- Release Shift to clear the temporary held target and return to normal function operation.
Blocking functions. Below the Shift option are five separate checkboxes:
- Block Auto Target — restrict automatic target selection while holding.
- Block Auto Assist — do not hand control over to the assister's target.
- Block Next Target — prevent switching to the next target from intervening.
- Block Reskill — restrict Reskill responses while manually holding a target.
- Block Breaker — restrict Breaker intervention while holding a target.
These checkboxes define temporary behavior while Shift is held, without permanently turning off the corresponding panel buttons. The child toggles are unavailable unless the holding option is enabled.
Holding on this tab and changing the search angle with Shift in the Auto Target settings are separate options. Enabling one should not be taken to mean that the other is enabled automatically.
Tracking aggression skills
Purpose of the list. “Global aggro tracking” defines the skills ZeusR uses to detect aggression. This information is used for your character and other objects when the corresponding skill use is known to the program. Tracking does not require the Target Inspector button to be on.
Inspector uses it in “Ignore aggressor” mode, while Auto Assist uses it when skipping assisters under aggression is enabled. The list therefore applies to all aggro handling, not just inspector modes.
Entries and checkboxes. Each row defines a skill or skill set. The checkbox on the left includes the entry in tracking; clearing it excludes the entry. Selecting a row opens its fields below and does not itself enable or disable the entry.
Skill or set. The first field in the lower panel contains the IDs of the skills to recognize. Enter them manually or select them from the library. Open the selector by double-clicking, using the context menu, or pressing F4 in the skill field. A set lets one entry track several related skills.
Entry name. The field beside the icon shows the skill's name. The checkbox before this field allows a custom name; without it, the standard name determined from the skill is used. This checkbox controls the entry's text, not whether global tracking is enabled.
Custom icon. Enable this checkbox and enter the ID of the skill whose icon you want to use. This changes the entry's appearance; the recognized skills are still determined by the first ID field. A custom icon does not add a new skill to tracking.
Adding and editing. For a new entry, fill in the skill field and click “Add”. If that set already exists, its existing row is selected. To edit, select a row and change its fields; “Remove” deletes the selected entry. Do not confuse checking a row to include it with selecting it for editing.
Entry order. You can rearrange rows with the mouse. The order helps organize the list but does not set activation priority: skills from all enabled entries are considered.
The list helps ZeusR recognize the event and choose what to do next. Adding an entry alone does not block a skill or make your character immune to aggression.
Saving. After setup, save the main settings profile. It stores the Inspector mode and hotkey, Esc reset, class exceptions, Shift checkboxes, and aggro tracking entries.
