Choose an example that fits your task. Each provides a short setup sequence and the expected result; follow the links for detailed settings. Choose skills available to your character and ranges suited to the action.
Observation and manual selection only
- Open main settings and enable the interface elements you need: the map, player list, and target panel.
- Leave automatic combat functions disabled on the function bar.
- Configure the size and contents of the lists, then select a player on the radar or in the list.
- If click-through is enabled, hold Alt to interact with ZeusR.
Result. The interface helps you observe your surroundings and select a target manually. Panel visibility is configured separately from automatic functions.
Automatic targeting by enemy role
- In Priorities prepare a class profile and give the desired roles a higher priority.
- Select this profile as the active one.
- In Auto Target set the range and angle, then configure friends, enemies, and zone mode.
- Enable Auto Target on the function bar.
Result. Among eligible enemies, ZeusR prefers classes with higher priority. The profile does not override range, sector, or relationship restrictions.
Following a leader
- In Auto Assist add the main assist leader and a backup below them. Check the rows you need.
- Enable “Take assist leader's target” and set the allowed range for the leader and their target.
- Select automatic mode or “By hotkey” and assign a separate hotkey to request a target.
- Enable Auto Assist on the function bar. Enable the on-screen assist leader status if needed.
Result. An eligible main leader determines your focus; if they do not meet the settings, the next enabled assist leader is used. In “By hotkey” mode, press the assigned shortcut to make a new request.
Manual focus with a temporary hold
- In Target Inspector enable “Remember and hold target with Shift”.
- Select which functions should yield to manual holding, such as Auto Target and Auto Assist.
- In the game, hold Shift and select the player you want.
- Release Shift when you want the functions to resume normal operation.
Result. While Shift is held, the selected functions do not interfere with your manually chosen focus. This setting works independently of the Target Inspector button itself.
Reacting to resurrection
- In Reskill select a mode and set the target hold time.
- If you only need certain classes, enable the restriction and fill in their list.
- For a response skill, enable “Use skills”, add an available action, set its range, and check the row.
- Enable Reskill on the function bar. If needed, enable PReskill with its separate checkbox and configure its own hold before resurrection.
Result. Reskill selects an eligible target and uses enabled actions according to the settings. Missing-buff notifications are enabled separately; their messages and sounds do not require the Reskill button to be enabled.
Healing a party member
- In Smart Combat create a group and add a healing skill available to your character.
- Select Find lowest HP to search for the target with the lowest HP. In the categories, select Party and add Self if you also want to heal yourself.
- Add an Object %HP < condition with a value of 60. Double-click the condition's row to change its type and value.
- Set the skill's range, select Auto activation, and leave Cast on self disabled so the heal is applied to the party member found. Enable the group, action, condition, and Smart Combat on the function bar.
Result. An eligible party member with HP below 60% is selected for healing, even if you currently have an enemy targeted. Object checks the healing candidate; User %HP would check your character's health. Read more about who a condition checks.
Cycling through eligible enemies
- Configure range, relationships, and priorities in Auto Target.
- In Next Target enable normal cycling, select “Manual”, and assign a hotkey.
- Specify the number of targets, for example 3, and enable Next Target on the function bar.
- Press the hotkey to move to the next eligible enemy.
Result. Cycling goes through the selected set, returning to the first target after the last. For timed switching, select “Auto”, set the delay, and press the same hotkey to start; press it again to stop cycling.
Responding to an important cast
- In Breaker add your response skill, such as Solar Flare.
- Set its minimum to 250, maximum to 0, and mode to Target always. The list will show a range of 250–*.
- Under the response, add the enemy skill you want to monitor and react to, then check both rows.
- Enable Breaker on the function bar. The enemy must be within ZeusR's current operating area.
Result. Target always allows you to select the casting enemy even closer than 250. Solar Flare itself is used only when ready and within range: from 250 onward, while the monitored cast is still in progress. Read more about Breaker target selection and ranges.
Save the resulting setup using Save settings. Enable additional functions as needed so the order of control remains clear to you.
