Auto Assist helps you follow a selected leader: acquire their target and repeat specified skills. These actions have separate checkboxes, so you can use target acquisition alone, skill repetition alone, or both together.
The Auto Assist button on the function panel enables assisting. You can enable it independently of the regular Auto Target button. The global pause and restrictions on automatic functions still apply.
Assister list
Adding an assister. Right-click the list and select “Add assister”. The menu offers the currently selected player target, members of “My party”, and available nearby players. The class name and range shown in the menu help you find the right person.
Enabling entries. The checkbox on the left allows the assister to be used. Select a row to replace or remove it; selecting a row alone does not make that player the current leader. Clear the checkbox to temporarily exclude someone while keeping them in the list.
Selection order. ZeusR checks enabled rows from top to bottom and uses the first suitable assister. It considers their availability, state, range, aggro and buff restrictions, and, when acquiring a target, whether the target itself is suitable. If the first entry does not qualify, the next is checked. Drag rows with the mouse to place your primary leader above backups.
Replacing and removing. Select a row and open its context menu. “Replace assister” changes the player in that row; “Remove assister” removes the entry. The name is saved as the character's in-game name and compared without case sensitivity. The player must be within the environment available to ZeusR.
Selection conditions and activation modes
Auto Assist hotkey. The shortcut field at the top assigns a key combination to toggle the Auto Assist button on the function panel. This controls assisting as a whole; the target request hotkey is set separately in “On key press” mode.
Acquire assister's target. This checkbox makes your character acquire the current target of a suitable assister. Leave it unchecked to use only repetition of selected skills.
Automatically. Assisting regularly checks the list and maintains the leader's current suitable target. When the leader switches targets, ZeusR can adopt their new focus.
On key press. A shortcut field for requesting a target appears beside this mode. Press it to acquire the current target of a suitable assister. To acquire the next target after they switch, press the key again. Both Auto Assist and “Acquire assister's target” must be enabled for the request.
Max. assister range. Limits the distance from your character to the leader. An assister beyond this distance is skipped, and the next enabled row is checked.
Max. target range. Limits the distance from your character to the leader's target. The target may be close to the assister but too far from you. In either field, a value of 0 removes the corresponding additional range limit.
Allow dead assister. Allows the leader to be used after death if they remain available and the other conditions are met. This permission concerns the assister's state, not their target's.
Allow dead target. Allows you to acquire the leader's dead target. It does not change the rules for using your own skills on a corpse. Regular target acquisition skips your character, the assister, and targets identified as friendly; skill repetition has its own target categories.
Skip assister under aggro. Temporarily excludes a leader on whom ZeusR has detected aggro, so you do not adopt a focus forced on them. The skills used to detect this are set in global aggro tracking.
Allow Breaker while assisting. Controls whether Breaker may intervene while the assister's target is being successfully acquired. Enabling the checkbox reveals these options:
- Only without a target — allows Breaker responses that do not select a target for the action.
- Any target — allows normal Breaker operation, including selecting another object.
Breaker's own button must also be enabled for it to work. While assisting is active, regular Auto Target searching yields control to the assister's target. Holding a target with Shift can temporarily block assisting if this is enabled in the Inspector settings.
Buff restrictions
These checks apply to an assister in your party, whose buffs are available to the program. They do not check your target's buffs or apply to arbitrary players outside your party.
Skip without buffs (party). Enable the checkbox and specify the required buffs in the field beside it. The assister must have all listed buffs; missing even one excludes them from selection.
Skip with buffs (party). Enable the checkbox and specify the forbidden buffs. Just one match is enough to temporarily skip the assister.
Filling the lists. You can enter skill IDs or use sets from the library; double-click the field to open the selector. Both restrictions can be used together. An empty list adds no check for the corresponding buffs.
Skill repetition
Repeat assister's skills. This checkbox enables a separate Auto Assist feature. It lets you respond to selected skill uses by the leader and have your own character use a skill with the same ID. “Acquire assister's target” does not need to be enabled for repetition, but the Auto Assist button on the panel must be on.
Adding a skill. Enable repetition, right-click the list, and select “Add skill”. The skill selector opens. Each row contains one skill; the checkbox on the left allows it to be repeated. To edit, select the row; to remove it, use “Remove skill” in the context menu. Double-clicking the row's name or ID field reopens the skill selector.
Skill selection window. Double-clicking opens a separate window with search by name or ID. The My Skills tab shows your character's skills, while Skills Base shows the skill database. This lets you find the action you need without entering its ID manually.
Selecting from the library. Right-clicking the ID field opens the standard “Skill database” menu. Expand the category you need and select a skill from its submenu. This is another way to fill the field, using library categories.
Skill ID. Determines which skill use to monitor and which of your own skills to attempt. Your character must have this skill available and ready. There is no automatic substitution with another skill serving a similar purpose.
Name. The entry's text, used to make the list easier to read. You can change it in the field below; recognition and use are determined by the ID.
Min. range and Max. range. Set the distance from you to the object on which the skill is repeated. A minimum of 0 permits use at any close distance; a maximum of 0 removes this row's upper limit. If the maximum is nonzero, the minimum must not exceed it.
Window (ms). Additional time after the monitored skill's cast duration during which it can still be repeated. For example, with a 1-second cast by the leader and a 250 ms window, an attempt is allowed within 1.25 seconds of the start of that skill use. This field does not impose a delay before repetition or shorten your skill's cooldown.
Target categories. Toggle them by clicking the corresponding cell in the row. Header tooltips explain the abbreviations:
| Column | Target category |
|---|---|
| E | Enemies |
| M | Monsters |
| N | Neutrals |
| F | Friends, clan, and alliance |
| P | Party |
When categories are checked, ZeusR uses the target on which the assister started the monitored skill. The object's category must match, the object itself must be available and alive, and its range must meet the row's limits. Allowing dead targets for regular target acquisition does not override this repetition check.
Without selecting the assister's target. If you clear all five categories, the skill is repeated without selecting the leader's object. This is useful for skills that need no target or actions on your current target. In this mode, the row's range limits to the assister's object do not apply.
Order and readiness. You can rearrange rows with the mouse for convenience. Repetition responds to monitored skill uses by a suitable assister; enabled rows do not become an independent skill sequence. If your character is already using another skill or the required action is not ready, repetition is possible only while the monitored skill use remains within the window.
On-screen assister status
In-game assister status. The checkbox by the heading enables text over the game window. It works when the Auto Assist button and “Acquire assister's target” are enabled. This text is not shown in a mode that only repeats skills.
Assister found. The first text field sets the message shown when a suitable leader is found. The %assister% placeholder inserts their name, for example, Assist: %assister%. The color button beside it sets the color for this state.
Assister not found. A separate checkbox before the second row allows a message to be shown when no suitable leader with an eligible target is available. It has its own text and color settings. This state can occur even when the person is nearby but fails the restrictions or has no suitable target.
Font, size, and position. These are shared by both messages. Select a font, size, and one of nine areas of the game window: top, middle, or bottom, aligned left, center, or right.
XY offset. The “XY” button opens a separate window for precise position adjustment. X sets the horizontal offset and Y the vertical offset; use either the slider or numeric field. The reset button beside each axis returns its offset to 0.
Saving. After setup, save the main settings profile. It stores the assister list and order, modes and hotkeys, restrictions, skill repetition rows, and status appearance.
